The operational problem

The work exists in four places, so nobody sees the same truth.

Incoming requests arrive by email. A spreadsheet tracks assignments. Engineers send site photos through chat. Completion is confirmed in another thread. Every hand-off creates a new version of the job.

The demonstration makes the job the system of record. Roles see different actions, but they work from the same status, evidence and decision history.

The workflow, end to end.

  1. 01

    Request

A job enters one queue with location, priority and the service-level deadline.

  2. 02

    Assign

The office coordinator selects an engineer with the right location and availability.

  3. 03

    Work

The engineer sees the job history, records readings and attaches completion evidence.

  4. 04

    Review

The office checks the evidence and records approval or sends the job back with a reason.

  5. 05

    Close

The customer sign-off, timestamps and decision history remain on one job record.

What a production build would enforce.

  • Server-side role and site permissions
  • Immutable timestamps and decision history
  • Virus-scanned evidence uploads
  • Offline-safe field evidence capture
  • Service-level alerts and escalation
  • Backups, monitoring, runbooks and ownership
